1. The price includes **only the LED strip**—power supplies and controllers are **not included**.

2. SK6812 RGBW must be controlled using a DC5V power supply and a pixel controller.

3. There are solder joints every 0.5 meters. This is normal for electronic products and **not a quality defect**.

4. The SK6812 RGBW LED strip can be cut between individual LEDs to customize the length. Do not bend it sharply.

5. The 3-pin SM connector of the LED strip is wired as follows: Red = VCC, White = GND, Green = DATA.

6. The back of the LED strip’s PCB has adhesive tape (**except for IP67 models**). Ensure the installation surface is smooth, clean, and dry.

7. When extending the LED strip, add a power supply to the 2-pin power lines at both ends to reduce voltage drop.

 

### How to Choose an LED Power Supply and Pixel Controller?

1. First, calculate the total power of the LED strip:

One LED chip consumes approximately 0.3W. For example, if you purchase a 5m strip with 60 LEDs/m (300 LEDs total): 0.3W × 300 = 90W.

 

2. Then, select a suitable LED power supply:

This LED strip supports DC5V, so 90W ÷ 5V = 18A (choose a power supply rated at **at least 18A or higher**).

 

3. Finally, choose your preferred pixel controller:

The SK6812 RGBW LED strip is controlled by a dual-data-line pixel controller. You can select from our store:
